The PAA's Sixth Annual 125 Show
The Plano Art Association's acclaimed 125 Art Show is open to all artists residing within 125 of the center of Plano, TX. It will be held April 14 to May 15, 2010. http://www.planoartassociation.com/
With two outstanding jurors, the quality of the show is always high, and we look forward to receiving works in our three categories:

§ Printmaking & Photograph
Each category will offer a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, plus one Grand Prize Winner of $1,000. We encourage all styles and backgrounds of artists to enter, whether traditional or contemporary, and whatever your professional artistic level. April 4, 2011 is the Deadline for submitting your Artwork! |
The 125 Show Jurors, 2011Enrique Fernández Cervantes Enrique Fernández Cervantes is an active visual artist, exhibition curator and graphic designer. His paintings and fine art photographs have been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums. Since 1999, Enrique has held the position of Visual Arts Coordinator and Curator of Exhibitions at the Bath House Cultural Center. The Bath House, an arts facility of the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs, is dedicated to fostering the development and quality of multi-cultural arts within the city of Dallas. Michael O'Keefe Michael O'Keefe currently resides in Dallas, TX where he lives and works as an artist. In 2003 O'Keefe moved to Dallas from New York in order to pursue an Masters degree in visual arts at Southern Methodist University. In 2006 O'Keefe received his MFA and chose to remain in Dallas to continue his career as an artist as well as to teach at various institutions in the area. O'Keefe currently teaches drawing at Eastfield College, and teaches both drawing and sculpture at Brookhaven College and SMU. He also teaches drawing to architects at Corgan Associates, Inc., a prominent international architect and design firm located in Dallas. Prior to relocating to Dallas, O'Keefe taught Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture for many years to high-functioning mentally ill adults in New York City with the organization HAI, Inc. O'Keefe received his BA from Muhlenberg College in 1999. He also studied at the New York Studio School, the Maryland Institute, College of Art, and The International School of Art in Umbria, Italy. O'Keefe has shown his work at various locations in New York, Philadelphia, and Dallas. He currently exhibits work regularly at NorwoodFlynn gallery in Dallas.
