I've seen many a person by a fifteen dollar print then take it to the frame shop and spend three hundred dollars in having it framed. Original art is expensive, some say. But many people will spend a couple hundred dollars a week on eating out, or drinks.
Is there a way to make people want a product they don't have much reverence for?
When there are so many artists and the buying sector is pared down, what is the solution?
A question to think about is how did someone like Thomas Kincade sell a mass amount if prints for thousands if dollars to the mass market, yet the regular artist has a tougher time?
