Artist Opportunity – Call to Latino Artists – Killeen Foundation

The LULAC 4535 Killeen Foundation is promoting Latino Arts and Artists and will have a juried exhibit during "The National Hispanic Heritage Month" in September 2011.  The Foundation has received a grant from the Killeen Arts Commission. LULAC (League of United Latino American Citizens) is the oldest Hispanic civil rights organization that has just celebrated its 81st. anniversary.  The Killeen 4535 Foundation in its endeavour of giving the best opportunities to the realization of the Latinos aspirations, while promoting the understanding of our contributions to the foundation, development and progress of our Nation, will have the event mentioned above.  As a "pre taste" of the Festival there is an exhibit of a Latino artist, Alice de los Santos Goewey at the Killeen Conference and Civic Center.

Artists who wish to participate in this project should contact Magdalena Villaronga at maglatinavi@clearwire.net
